Having read many of Ben Bova’s books, it was a real treat listening to the all-too-short interview. And, just as most of his books did, the interview got me thinking. It made me want to comment on a few subjects discussed during the interview (please, contain your joy). I’ll touch on each of them in turn over the next few submissions.
This piece comments on the following: Science Fiction movies today do not inspire people (“whole generations” was the term used) toward space exploration because they are not really science fiction movies. I assume they were referring to Science Fiction movies specifically dealing with space travel and exploration, and that’s the movies I’m talking about in this piece. Read more...

Air is an Interesting Element in the Earth

One of interesting element in the earth is AIR. Imagine if the earth don't have air like in the planet, it's impossible human can live in the earth. One air function sample is breath. When we breath we need air. Plane can't fly without air.

We can't see air without tool. But we can make an experiment to find it. When we make a bubble soap, we would confirm that air was there.

Section I : AIR

The atmosphere surrounding the Earth is full of air. The air is made from molecules of different gases. The most common gases are Oxygen and Nitrogen they are about 21% of Oxygen and 78% of Nitrogen. All life in Earth (including animals and plants) need air. We need breath in air to get Oxygen to keeps alive. To photosynthesis, Plants need gasses from air. To survive, Animals need air to get the oxygen.

Some time we can't (hardly) notice the air all around us because we cannot see, touch or taste it. We can feel air when it move and see the effect it has on othet thing, but it's difficult to investigate.

In this section some experiment will help you to investigate air.

Section I : AIR

Be A Good Scientist

How to Be A Good A Scientist?

First of all, Keep a notebook to write down what you do and what happens in your experiments.

Before you start, collect all equipment that you need to do your experiments.

Watch your experiments very carefully, because sometime your experiments goes very quickly.
